Microblading

Define & Sculpt Your Brows

How it works:

The Consultation: Your journey begins with a detailed consultation. Our therapists will discuss your desired shape, thickness, and colour.

Using precise tools, we will map out your new brow shape, ensuring symmetry and alignment with your facial features. No pigment is applied until you are completely satisfied with the pre-draw.

The Pigment Application: After applying a topical numbing cream for comfort, a fine, sterile, manual hand tool (blade) is used to create delicate, hair-like incisions into the superficial layers of the skin (the epidermis and upper dermis). Premium pigment is then implanted into these strokes.

The Healing Process and Perfection Session: Your initial session lays the foundation. The brows will appear darker and sharper immediately after the treatment. As they heal, the colour will soften by up to 40%.

A crucial Top Up Session, scheduled 6-8 weeks after your initial treatment, is mandatory. This allows the artist to assess how your skin healed, reinforce the strokes, adjust the colour, and perfect the shape, ensuring stunning, long-lasting results.

Microblading results are semi-permanent, lasting between 1 to 3 years before requiring a colour boost (annual touch-up) to maintain their crispness and vibrancy.

Elegance top tips… How to get the best results from your Microblading?

  • Patch Test is Essential: A patch test must be completed at least 48 hours before your initial treatment to rule out any potential allergic reactions to the pigments.

  • Avoid Blood Thinners: Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning medication (like Ibuprofen or Aspirin, consult a doctor first) for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to minimise bleeding and maximise pigment retention.

  • Strict Aftercare: The first 7-14 days are crucial. Avoid getting your brows wet (no swimming, saunas, heavy sweating, or direct water in the shower). Use the specialised aftercare ointment sparingly as directed by your artist.

  • Do Not Pick or Scratch: As your brows heal, they will naturally form scabs and may feel itchy. It is essential not to pick or scratch the scabs, as this will pull out the pigment and can lead to scarring. Let them exfoliate naturally.

  • Protect from the Sun: Once healed, always use a high-factor SPF on your brows when exposed to the sun. UV rays are the number one cause of pigment fading.
