1. General

1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all treatments and services provided by Elegance at Ecclesall.
1.2 By booking an appointment, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1.3 We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Appointments and Consultations

2.1 All new clients must complete a consultation form before their first appointment.
2.2 For certain treatments (e.g., laser hair removal and semi-permanent makeup), a patch test is required at least 24 to 48 hours before your appointment.
2.3 We reserve the right to refuse service if a patch test has not been completed or if we believe treatment is not suitable for you.
2.4 Clients must be 18 years or older for laser hair removal and semi-permanent makeup. Parental consent is required for clients aged 16 to 17 for waxing and lash services.

3. Health and Medical Conditions

3.1 Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or recent surgeries that may affect your treatment.
3.2 We will not be liable for any adverse reactions caused by undisclosed medical conditions or incorrect information provided.

4. Booking and Payment

4.1 A non-refundable booking fee of 25% may be required to secure your appointment.
4.2 The remaining balance must be paid in full on the day of treatment.
4.3 We accept payment by cash or debit/credit card.
4.4 Prices are subject to change at any time without notice. Prices at the time of booking will be honoured.

5. Cancellation and No Show Policy

5.1 We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
5.2 Late cancellations (under 24 hours) will result in the loss of your booking fee.
5.3 No shows may be charged up to 100% of the treatment cost and may be required to prepay future appointments in full.

6. Late Arrival

6.1 Please arrive on time. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may need to shorten your treatment time or reschedule your appointment.
6.2 In this case, the full treatment cost still applies.

7. Aftercare and Results

7.1 Aftercare instructions will be provided for all treatments. It is your responsibility to follow these instructions carefully.
7.2 We cannot guarantee results for any treatment, as they vary from person to person depending on skin type, lifestyle, and other factors.
7.3 We are not responsible for complications that arise from failure to follow aftercare guidelines.

8. Refunds and Complaints

8.1 We do not offer refunds for completed treatments, unless there is fault on our side.
8.2 If you are unhappy with a treatment, please notify us within 48 hours so we can investigate and resolve the issue.

9. Right to refuse service

9.1 Our salon staff have the right to refuse service to anyone behaving improperly, intoxicated or if their state of health may influence the effects of the service.

10.Children and Guests

10.1 Due to safety and insurance reasons, we kindly ask that you do not bring children or additional guests to your appointment unless they have a scheduled treatment.
10.2 Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

11. Hygiene and Safety

10.1 We follow strict hygiene and sanitation protocols in line with UK health and safety regulations.
10.2 All equipment is sterilised or disposed of after each use.
10.3 If you have any infectious conditions (e.g., cold sores, fungal infections, COVID-19 symptoms), you must inform us and reschedule your appointment.

12. Liability

12.1 We are insured and qualified to perform all treatments offered.
12.2 Elegance at Ecclesall is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur during or after your appointment, unless caused by our negligence.
12.3 You accept full responsibility for the outcomes of any treatment based on the consultation and information provided.

13. Privacy and Data Protection

13.1 All client records and personal information are kept confidential and stored securely.
13.2 We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
13.3 By using our services, you consent to us processing your data for the purposes of providing treatments and managing your appointments.

14. Promotions and Gift Vouchers

14.1 Promotions cannot be combined with other discounts or offers.
14.2 Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and are non-refundable.
14.3 Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.

15. Governing Law

15.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
15.2 Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
